What an exciting week for events in the city of Omaha, NE for its citizens and visitors!

Omaha, NE is host to The World Cup 2017, the “Super Bowl” of horses, at The Century Link Center March 29-April 2, 2017. The LONGINES FEI WORLD CUP will bring competitors from all over the world, places like: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Gothenberg, Sweden; Geneva, Switzerland; Leipzig Germany; Lyon, France and S’Hertogenbosch Amsterdam, Netherlands. This will not be the first international event that a city of our size hosts, the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders meetings, the last three Olympic Swim Trials, and US Figure Skating, brings international guests and competitors from all over the world as well.
Not only will many countries be represented here in Omaha, but we will also have American and International Olympians such as Todd Minikus, and McLain Ward of the US, competing with Switzerland Gold Medalist Steve Guerdat and Isabell Werth of Germany, a 10 time Olympian.
A big shout-out to Lisa Yanney Roskens, the Chair of Omaha Equestrian Foundation for bringing the Longines FEI World Cup 2017 and its guests to Omaha, NE . Thank you for growing this sport in Omaha.
